Event Description: “The NAGB is rocking the bells at our Christmas-themed 'Arternoon' on Saturday, December 2nd at 10:00 am. Children ages 4-12 years are invited to make Christmas ornaments with NAGB staff and volunteers, then help to decorate our very unusual, incredibly cool Christmas tree! Arternoons are fun filled workshops specially designed for our youngest visitors, children ages 4-12. Usually themed, these awesome projects are facilitated by professional artists and museum educators. They make the perfect introduction to color, composition and craft for your budding young artist and the results are the beginnings of a personal collection, right at home! About NAGB: “Housed in the historic Villa Doyle, built in the 1860s and lovingly restored in the 1990s, the NAGB preserves the National Collection of Bahamian Art, part of which is on permanent display on the ground floor. Upper galleries engage the history of Bahamian Art and Visual culture and support contemporary movements and experimental contemporary art practice through temporary exhibitions. The NAGB also has an extensive public program schedule, community and regional projects and partnerships, arts education workshops, and a free public art library.”Read more: The NAGB-About
