Event Description: “The UWI Department of Creative & Festival Arts (DCFA) invites you to our Annual Visual Arts Degree Exhibition which will run from Wednesday 12th April 2017 at 6:30 pm at the National Museum and Art Gallery and continue weekdays from 9:00am – 5:00pm. Artists Talk on Friday 21st April 2017 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. The Exhibition will encompass a variety of contemporary works produced by the Fine Art and Design students of the programme. These works of students pursuing the BA degree in Visual Arts will include drawings, sculptures, installations, photography, product design, fashion design, and book design. This event showcases work from the graduating students, who have been researching diverse themes and exploring an extensive variety of media during the current academic year. The ultimate aim of this exhibition is to promote these upcoming artists and designers within Trinidad and Tobago. It is hoped that this event will provide a platform for these UWI graduates to express their ideas and capabilities to potential employers and to the wider public.
