Event Description: “Carnival and the Carnival Culture is part of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Trinidad and Tobago. During the Carnival Season, the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago will present a series of lectures to the public entitled the History and Heritage of Trinidad Carnival. The second of this four-part lecture series is on The History of Mas. Dr Kevin Browne will present on Carnival and the Imaging of Emancipatory Practice, followed by a question and answer / discussion period.
