Event Description: “The collective photography exhibition 'Visions Archipéliques' (Archipelagic Visions), curated by Dominique Brebion, opens on Thursday, October 13, and will be on view until November 28, 2016, at Fondation Clément in Martinique. On Sunday, October 16, from 10:00am until noon, there will be a guided tour with commentary by Dominique Brebion. Event Narrative: “The exhibition 'Visions Archipéliques' (Archipelagic Visions), is a journey through the diversity of Caribbean contemporary photography: from traditional portraits in natural or domestic space to highly constructed images, from complex and detailed staging to works of digital creation, from sophisticated shots to impromptu cell-phone captures, from a postmodern practice of photography to a diversion of the medium.
