About the Artist: "Leona Fabien - An Art and Design teacher, Leona Fabien enjoys the process of creating works of art and creating to achieve new impressions. She is very passionate about painting and interlocking yarns which become woven works of art. She is often inspired by both her immediate natural and man-made environment – local flora, fauna and architectural motifs have been featured in this exhibition. Colour and textures are important in her creations as they capture the various moods that her work express." Read more: http://fineartcaribbean.com/
About the Artist: "Lisa Hutchinson - Lisa Hutchinson is a passionate artist who specializes in Organic Abstract Art. Her paintings reflect aspects of the natural environment and profess a love for anthuriums especially. Yet, her images appear as slight distortions of this environment as she attempts to add a new visual image to the artscape of Trinidad & Tobago. Lisa’s works are known for their trademark bright colours, soft hues and clean, feminine lines. Each painting is seen as a journey or an evolution of emotion as it is being created due to the layering and depths that are used in each painting to engage its audience."
